The tools of war have always been focused on one’s ability to Detect, Deny, Disrupt, Degrade, Deceive or Destroy an adversary’s capability.

In forty years, we have visited, studied, and revisited a number of enticing ideas for weapons - from horribly lethal to non-lethal.

The things that change are the proposed technologies and the rules of engagement. We look for innovators, new innovative technologies, and different ways to engage those technologies in combat.

We study weapons concepts, weapons effects, countermeasures, and subtlety. We maintain the ability to analyze the kill chain [Detect, Deny, Disrupt, Degrade, Destroy] for kinetic weapons used in one-versus-one and many-versus-many analyses. We use these and other tools to study speed-of-light weapons and effects to see how individual engagements could be perfected and force-on-force strategies could be optimized.

We maintain capabilities to evaluate electro-optical systems, array sensors, missile kinematics, High Power RF and Laser effects, moderate power RF Systems novel antennas, and power systems.

We evaluate Advanced Technology for insertion into existing weapons, and new disruptive technologies that could potentially ‘change the game’. We also study conventional and nuclear weapons systems, and look for ways to keep them safe and secure while they are not in use.

Our work always starts with a thorough review of what’s current, how ideas are or could be used, what a new idea entails, how it might be adapted, and where it is in development. We are discrete, we respect intellectual property, and we use our human networks to explore avenues for inserting new technology into modern warfare.
