Does my program have any risks? Well, yes.

Every single element of a well-planned program, from planning to closeout, carries the risk that something unexpected may happen. And something usually does. By completing a thorough risk analysis, ranking risks to the program, estimating the cost to address any risk, we help Program Managers plan for and set aside both contingency and management reserve. We do so in both cost and schedule spaces, and sometimes they are surprisingly unrelated. Allocating an extra 20% of schedule might cover uncertainties in accomplishment, but until the schedule is carefully analyzed that is just a guess. Likewise, estimating the cost to retire risks, then allocating and setting aside funds to do so can be reasonably expected to ensure program success in the face of uncertainty. Our expert ability to manage risks, identify problems, and then apply mitigation risks will keep your project firmly in control.

Subcontractor Management

How are my project subcontractors doing?

Our experienced program managers know that transferring work to a subcontractor simply places that part of the project further from your scrutiny. Without being overbearing, we set up reporting and cross-checking processes to make sure that if a subcontractor is having a problem, our client is not blind-sided by it.

Quality and Mission Assuredness

There are a number of buzz words in the community about quality. Simply put, quality is a measure of how well a product fulfills the requirements it was built to serve. The size and scope of a project, as well is its product or deliverables, should drive what sort of quality system is chosen and how that system is implemented. Whether you are partial to Deming’s Total Quality Management or Kaizien Continuous Improvement or another system, we will review your quality requirements and suggest a system – with basis – that should provide best value in the successful completion of your project.
