We help Clients large and small with managing program essentials. Our first task includes a thorough review of requirements, then proposed or implemented scope, schedule, cost, risk, other resources, and quality requirements. We document our work to facilitate thorough communications with our client, stakeholders, team members, and subcontractors as we get to work completing everything required to keep things on track. Just for review: Here are some well-used terms in association with project management.
New Triple Constraint GraphicScope – the work performed to deliver products, services, and results with specified features and functions.
Schedule – an output of a schedule model that presents linked (arranged) activities that have planned start dates, durations, milestones, and resources.
Cost – the planned or actual financial resources needed for a project.
Risk – An uncertain event or condition that could have a positive or negative effect on one or more project objectives or products.
Other Resources – Time, Personnel, Equipment, Facilities, perhaps stakeholder support, business infrastructure, etc.
Quality – The degree to which a set of project (or product, service, or result) inherent characteristics actually fulfills the requirement for that thing.
These six topics are used in the ‘new’ triple constraint construct espoused by PMIO in the PMBOK 5th edition.
